Honinbo Shusaku (本因坊秀策 Hon'inbō Shūsaku, 1829-62) is considered by many to be the greatest player of the golden era of Go in the mid-19th century. He was nicknamed Invincible Shusaku because of his perfect score of 19 successive wins in the annual castle games

 SHUSAKU CUP 2009  second edition

 

The competition will be held in Targu Mures, on 27-29 martie 2009

        MACMAHON tournament system.

  1.      6 rounds,   60 minutes + 10 moves / 5 minute or byo yomi 3x30 sec/move , komi 6,5.

  3.     Registration can be make following Romanian or European ratings

Registration ??until 28 of february 2009 is free of charge, after this date the fee will be 10 EUR per person. Registration is allowed until 23rd of march 2009
